Leon was born on April 3rd, 1985, and lived in Fleckney, Leicestershire until we moved to Northamptonshire in 2001. He sadly passed away on May 7th, 2007, from an extremely rare form of cancer called Malignant Histiocytosis at the age of only 22.

He was a great & protective Brother and friend. He always made us laugh and had a very contagious laugh and smile. He loved mountain biking and working out, as well as going out with his mates and having poker nights, and generally loved life.

I even miss the petty teenage arguments with him over who could have the Internet modem (physically connected to a computer back then with the dial up tone) and him hogging the TV to record the Dragonball Z marathon on VHS (again showing our age, you couldn't switch the TV channel when recording).

So I'm going to try my best to raise as much money as I can to help others with rare cancers such as Leon's, as there's nothing worse than losing your loved ones. I know every penny this charity receives will make a huge difference in research to help preventing anyone else go through what Leon did and the impacts on loved ones.
